Data on the share of various types of damage to rolling bearings in tractors of different brands and even in tractors of the same brand, but in different samples, may differ slightly, since this ratio is the result of the influence of a number of variable factors, including the load on the bearing units, the properties of abrasive particles that get into the lubricant and depend on soil conditions during tractor operation, the frequency of violations of the specified oil change intervals, etc. The reason for the decrease in the durability of the second group is deviations from the technology of manufacturing and repair of machines. Ovality, conicity and other defects of the mounting surfaces lead to an unfavorable redistribution of the load between the rolling elements and fatigue spalling of the metal. Failure to maintain the alignment of shafts and mounting holes leads to pinching of rolling elements, misalignment of rings and failure of bearing parts.
