Increasing energy efficiency and heat conservation is of particular importance in the modern construction industry. Excessive energy consumption is often associated with insufficient thermal performance of building envelopes. Therefore, optimizing the design parameters of wall structures is a pressing issue in modern civil engineering. This article examines various combinations of layer thickness and thermal conductivity, exploring their impact on the overall thermal resistance and temperature field of the wall. The study analyzed the relationship between the geometric and physical characteristics of the layers and identified patterns of their influence on heat storage efficiency. Furthermore, the influence of the thermal insulation layer placement on the energy efficiency of the structure is described. The results of this study are based on current building codes of the Republic of Kazakhstan and can be used in design practice, as well as in the development of new engineering solutions for energy conservation and improved thermal efficiency.
