This article provides for scientific and practical tasks aimed at performing a preventive function in the ergonomic design of children's clothing for special purposes. The study identified the main types of physical impairment in primary school girls, to prevent which design approaches based on the ergonomic characteristics of clothing models were proposed. Anthropometric data were collected for the study in order to study the specific body sizes and structures of children. When designing children's clothing based on the necessary data and information, types of clothing that meet various parameters were identified and ergonomically acceptable models were presented. Proposes new approaches aimed at improving the ergonomics and preventive function of children's clothing, as well as ensuring its harmlessness to health.
