The article examines the impact of hazardous industrial factors across different sub-sectors of the metallurgical industry affecting workers depending on working conditions. The study presents the development of an experimental device designed to assess the fire-resistant properties of textile materials under conditions as close as possible to real operating conditions. The design features of the installation, its operating principles, and the results of preliminary tests of various types of fabrics are discussed.
