This study is dedicated to the development of a combined radiative-evaporative condenser for a refrigeration system operating with the natural refrigerant R290. The proposed device integrates two passive cooling methods: heat removal through radiation to the “cold sky” and water evaporation. An experimental prototype was developed and tested. The results showed that at an ambient temperature of +25℃ and relative humidity of about 60%, the combined condenser was capable of removing up to 650 W/m² of heat, which is 25-30% more efficient than a conventional air-cooled condenser. A reduction in compressor load and energy consumption (〜15-20% annual savings) was achieved, confirming the potential of the proposed approach.
