Abstract

The article examines the architectural environment of courtyard spaces in Astana with a focus on children's playgrounds. The analysis revealed the main problems: insufficient level of safety of structures, limited accessibility for children with special needs, as well as a poor variety of play elements that do not meet age and functional requirements. Emphasis is placed on the involvement of local communities in the design and renovation processes, which ensures the adaptation of objects to the practical needs of residents and increases their social responsibility. Based on a systematic approach, recommendations are proposed for the implementation of inclusive design principles, expanding the range of play modules of various types and organizing educational programs for parents and children aimed at improving competencies in the field of safe and conscious use of urban spaces. The obtained results confirm the necessity of a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach to the design of playgrounds to improve the quality of the urban environment and the harmonious development of the younger generation.
