In this work, the development of technology for the production of ceramic bricks with the addition of copper slag, the study of the influence of this mixture on the properties of the material and the assessment of the possibility of its use in industry are considered. Addition of copper slag to the ceramic brick has a positive effect on its mechanical properties, including increases strength. Changes in the microstructure, determined by the SEM method, confirm the improvement of the cohesive properties of the material. As a result of chemical analysis, the resulting composition showed a uniform distribution of elements, which indicates the stability of the composition. The use of copper slag allows not only to utilize metallurgical waste, but also to reduce the cost of production of ceramic bricks. This contributes to the creation of ecologically clean building materials that meet the modern requirements of sustainable development. The main compounds are represented by silicon dioxide, calcium oxide, aluminum oxide, as well as various oxides of iron, magnesium, potassium and sulfates.
