Abstract

The paper considers the relationship between the structure and properties of multitoned fibre materials widely used in the textile and clothing industry. Characteristics of defectiveness and non-uniformity of properties, as well as porosity of fibrous materials depending on the method of moulding are given. Estimated characteristics of fibrous materials moulded by melt and solution methods are given.  The work of yarns in the technological process is carried out at different lengths. The necessity of development of methods of yarns quality estimation close to the processing is pointed out. The considered methods should simulate the technological process if possible.
