This article presents research aimed at improving ergonomic and environmental performance, including certain design elements, with a view to enhancing the comfort and quality of clothing for military personnel of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A survey on quality and comfort was conducted, alongside a systematisation of requirements for modern domestic military clothing, and a theoretical justification for the design process is provided. High-quality, comfortable military clothing will enable military personnel to play a key role in enhancing the effectiveness of military operations, ensuring a high level of protection and comfort. These improvements will contribute to the development of processes and innovations in this field, as well as to the further enhancement of the armed forces’ combat readiness. As a result of the research, several effective components were proposed to address issues of discomfort and improve the design of military clothing. Furthermore, it is proposed to add additional elements to facilitate the use of specialised clothing for military personnel.
